Beta / Early-Stage Priorities

Business, Software, Startups, Web

I wish I had read this post by Kevin Merritt before I gave my talk last night at STS. This is good stuff, and the general concepts Kevin writes about – competing priorities, quick iteration, measurement, feedback — all mesh well with my nuts-and-bolts discussion.

The more I read about blist the more impressed I am. There’s an intuitive appeal to how they think about what they’re doing. And Kevin’s next most recent post reminded me not a little of Hillel’s talk last night — (paraphrasing)

We’re here to listen to you, the customer, but ultimately we are going to remain true to our vision of our company, and not sell out our vision.

Good stuff.

I’d read his post and I thought it was inspired by your upcoming talk. I expected it to end with, “And to learn more see Anthony Stevens…”
