I have been playing around with the Bloglines beta for the past month or so, most substantially because of the whizzy new interface.  However, I’m getting closer to abandoning it for various reasons — most lately because of the search results.

I’m doing a search for “Mathew Ingram”. Check out the results.

I know that most RSS readers will show lots of results, but this is sort of ridiculous.  The first result is for a weather feed for the town of Ingram, PA.  Total subscribers for the first page of results is zero (0).  Not terribly impressive.
