On Tuesday night I attended the kickoff event for the Social Media Club Seattle, sponsored by Visible Technologies and the Spring Creek Group. The event was held in the Court In the Square, right off King Street. This is a nice airy open space between two office buildings, and has a nice brick Old Seattle style.

About 175 people showed up (so I’m told). This was an EXCELLENT turnout and I get the feeling that the event planners with SMC, and the sponsors, were extremely pleased. It was a fun, interesting crowd, and I really had fun meeting new people as well as catching up with those I’ve previously met.
