Cold Pavement: a monthly networking event for communication professionals. Next event is July 15th, 6:00 PM, at the Montlake Ale House. Whrrl is sponsoring and the first 30 people get a free drink!

Seattle Tech Startups: a monthly seminar / networking event for local tech startup types. This is always a well-put-together evening with great speakers. I even spoke at one of their events last year, which tells you something. Next meeting is Thursday, July 16th, at 7 PM at the UW Business School, just like always.

The Big Blog Meetup: Mónica Guzmán makes a point of getting out in the field every week and interacting with readers, bloggers, journalists, New Media types, and others at neighborhood venues. This week she’s at Contintental Coffee in the U-District; Wednesday, July 15th, 5:30 PM.

Seattle Net Tuesday: A mostly-monthly event that attracts people at the juncture of politics, tech, and activism. This is the brainchild of Sarah Schacht and will meet this month at Sole Repair on Capitol Hill, Tuesday, July 26th @ 6 PM. You can RSVP through the Facebook event page.

Social Media Club: A monthly event for Seattle social-media fans, and events are always extremely well attended, despite the $10 ticket price. This month: Thursday, July 16th, 6:00 to 9:00 PM, at the Lake Union Cafe.
